Krav Maga is well known throughout the world as one of the most efficient, practical, and USEFUL self defense systems there is. We do not think of this as a sport. We deal in real situations where real self defense may be necessary. Krav Maga is the self defense system used by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and over the last decade or so many US military branches are adopting the systems basics
as are law enforcement agencies everywhere. We use instinctual and natural movements and build reaction, confidence, stamina, and strength. We can always get better at technique, but the mindset a person has when being threatened whether physically, verbally, or emotionally is what we aim to develop. We train in an ever changing, challenging environment where uncomfortableness becomes the comfort enabling ANYBODY of any size, shape or age to benefit from practicing in this system. It also makes it learnable and more importantly, USABLE ! We are certified instructors by the Krav Maga Alliance, A world renowned organization founded and led by John Whitman -- a Sr Practical Instructor and 5th Degree Black Belt as awarded by the Wingate Institute in Israel. We have classes for adults and also for our youth. We practice in a a fun, active environment where we do not just go through the motions but practice what we've learned.
