230gr 1200FPS 700ftlbs V10 porting
06/11/2026
Load Data was dead on! Stout but manageable recoil. I was told by SWP that my V10 porting was better than the typically included comp provided w 460 barrels/pistols. I am running a V10 ported bull barrel from Rowland, fitted and ported by SWP. For actual bear defense ammo I’ll be loading hardcast, gas checked, 240gr RNFP. Going to try some 45 Super too!

LEOSA or similar protection might be opened up to another highly skilled group. While it’s my firm belief it’s every citizens right to carry concealed, and that 2A rights don’t stop at state borders, this would be progress and include a highly respected group. While LEOSA is not a security license, I’ve seen it used as a vetting credential, spotlighting those who are held to higher shooting standards and hold significant related experience. In some states, proprietary security does not require state licensing and this credential becomes the default standard for high level protection. This credential also protects its bearer from unconstitutional magazine capacity restrictions in states that regularly infringe on 2A rights (CA, NY,HI etc etc).
