The Town of Merrimack invites the community to a solemn 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on September 11, 2026, at 6:30 PM, hosted at American Legion Post 98. This event marks the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001, honoring the lives lost and the bravery of first responders. We encourage all community members to attend as we unite in remembrance.

Please note that parking for be at the O'Gara Drive Skateboard Park.

Please join us in congratulating Program Coordinator James Golisano, who successfully passed the National Recreation & Parks Association; Certified Parks and Recreation Executive (CPRE) Certification Exam yesterday!

The CPRE is the highest professional certification offered by the National Recreation and Park Association, and James now joins a select group of fewer than 1,000 professionals nationwide who have earned this prestigious credential.

Even more impressive, James is only the 2nd professional in New Hampshire to obtain this certification. (Director of Parks & Recreation, Matt Casparius, was the first person in NH).

On August 16th the NH State Outdoor Archery Championship was held at Pioneer Sportsmans Club in Dunbarton, NH. Our very own Phoenix Archery had a strong contingent of archers participate. In all 5 Phoenix Archers won medals with 4 State Champions for 2026.
