Thank you, Ozaukee Ice Center!

We aren’t done yet! Phase 1 of the parking lot is complete, the South Rink locker room showers and heat are nearly finished, and work is now moving to the North Rink lobby ceiling. We’re excited to keep investing in improvements that make Ozaukee Ice Center better for our skaters, families, and community.

🏒 What an INCREDIBLE day on the ice! 🥅✨

We had 65 players step out to try hockey for free this past weekend—including 7 current players who suited up in net to try goalie!

The turnout was evenly split and strong, with 32 players at our girls’ session and 33 at our boys’ session! A huge shoutout to the 11 Girl Scouts who came out to join the fun at the girls session! 💚🎉

Mark your calendars! We have two key meetings lined up this week to prepare for the upcoming season.

📋 Annual Coaches Meeting (MANDATORY) 🗓️ Tuesday, Sept. 15 | 6:45–9:00 PM
Our annual coaches’ meeting has been re-invented! This meeting will be a hands-on training session involving ice time. Attendance is MANDATORY for all those interested in coaching (lead, head, or assistant) for the 2026-27 season. Please have training requirements (1) - (7) listed on https://ozaukeehockey.com/club/volunteering complete by this meeting.

💻 Virtual Parent Information Meeting 🗓️ Wednesday, Sept. 16 | 6:30–7:30
New and experienced OYHA parents, join the OYHA Committee online to catch all of the latest OYHA information! We’ll cover things like the newly-refreshed 3-year strategic plan and what to expect in the 8U-14U team selection process. All parents at all levels of play are highly encouraged to attend!

Calling all future hockey stars! 🏒

Is your daughter interested in trying hockey? Our Girls Try Hockey For Free event gives youth ages 4–14 the opportunity to get on the ice, learn the basics, and experience the fun of hockey in a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment! No experience necessary!

We’ll be on the ice on: 🗓️ Sept 12 | 🗓️ Sept 19 | 🗓️ Sept 26 From 1:15pm - 2:15pm

Whether she is brand new to hockey or just curious about giving it a try, this is a great opportunity to get started. Don’t worry, we provide all the necessary gear and our trained coaching staff will be there to assist your child both on and off the ice every step of the way. We’ll also be happy to answer any questions you may have about hockey and our programs.
