Silver Eagles Maul the Panthers, 42–7
Monona Grove didn’t just beat Oregon — the Silver Eagles overwhelmed the Panthers from the opening kick, building a 42–0 halftime lead on the way to a 42–7 rivalry win and a 4–0 start.
After Austin Stubblefield recovered Oregon’s opening onside kick, Jaxon Zukowski scored on runs of 1 and 3 yards to put MG up 14–0. In the second quarter, D-Lo Clay added a 2-yard touchdown run, Zukowski hit Hunter Meyer for a 53-yard score, Austin Donkersgoed raced 35 yards for a touchdown on a reverse, and Carson Schoenherr caught a touchdown pass with two seconds left in the half.
Hans Haffele converted all six extra points.
MG’s defense was just as dominant. Cole Kessenich and Dom Melone recorded sacks, D Lo Clay added a major tackle for loss, and Oregon did not record its first first down until the third quarter, after Monona Grove had already gone heavily to its reserves.
By halftime, the game was effectively over. The Silver Eagles had scored 42 points before Oregon had managed a first down, turning the rivalry matchup into a rout.
Monona Grove now heads to Watertown in Week 5 at 4–0.
