Meet Kroc instructor, Audrey!
Audrey teaches Les Mills Sprint, a 30-minute HIIT cycling class on Saturday mornings at 9:15 a.m. Her fitness journey began after a running injury led her to try a BodyPump class, and she quickly fell in love with the energy of training to the music:
"I went to my first Les Mills BodyPump class while recovering from plantar fasciitis, and I was hooked. I loved moving to the music, and I realized how much stronger I became. My instructor encouraged me to get certified, and I've been teaching ever since."

For Audrey, Sprint is about challenging yourself while celebrating every victory, big or small: "I love Sprint because it lets me be really intense for 30 minutes, but you control your own workout. I encourage everyone to be just a little better than they were last time and to be proud of the effort they give."
Teaching is one of Audrey's greatest passions, and she loves helping members reach their goals together: "There is magic in the room when everyone works hard together in time with the music. I love seeing members make goals, chase them, and accomplish them."

Whether you're a first-time rider or a regular, Audrey makes sure everyone feels welcome: "If you're new, I'll help you know what to expect. I'll encourage you to challenge yourself, and I'll probably throw in a few bad jokes along the way!"
Be sure to join Audrey for Les Mills Sprint on Saturdays at 9:15 a.m. and experience the energy for yourself!

Let's celebrate Audrey at her Sprint class on Saturday, July 18, at 9:15am. Attendees will have a chance to receive Kroc swag!
๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Bonus: Bring a friend for FREE to this class on this day only! Because fitness is better when shared.

Meet Ben, one of our inspiring members. Though he's been with us for just one year, Ben has found something he didn't expect when he joined, a supportive community that keeps him coming back.
"I enjoy all the group fitness options at the Kroc. Also, there are some amazing trainers that are helpful and encouraging. These contribute to a sense of community which I didnโ€™t expect when I joined but I appreciate now."

Ben's fitness journey began after a back injury led him to focus on functional strength and mobility. Through consistency and patience, he discovered that building strength could relieve pain and improve the way he moves through everyday life.
"I learned that the source of a lot of pain is weak muscle. So I just kept working out and now I find myself moving through life and work with ease and grace. And my friends keep complimenting my butt!"

Along the way, Ben has also gained a new perspective on growth. He's learned that progress doesn't happen overnight and that simply showing up for yourself is a victory.
"I have learned to be patient with myself because growth takes time. Also just showing up is enough. Some days I can only walk a mile because of time or motivation, but at least I showed up for myself."

His advice to anyone beginning their own fitness journey is simple:
"Move at your own speed. Show yourself grace. Focus on your breath and have fun. Laugh at the pain. Build a strong core! Activate your glutes!"
Ben, thank you for reminding us that fitness is about more than becoming stronger. It's about showing up, trusting the process, and finding joy in the journey. We're grateful you're part of our Kroc community!
