Meet Coach Brittany 👋 🥏
Coach Brittany oversees our CrossFit Kids program at Triad Strength & Conditioning. She has always been passionate about helping others discover what they are capable of.
A former collegiate track & field athlete who competed in shot put and discus, after college she wanted to stay active but also missed training for a goal. Working out alone in a commercial gym got repetitive and she lost motivation.
On a fateful day in 2015, she heard Rick Ross mention CrossFit in an interview and got curious and looked it up. She googled “CrossFit near me”, signed up for a class, and it was love at first workout.
“I had never experienced a training style that combined Olympic weightlifting, gymnastics, and cardio into one program. Every day was different, every workout challenged me, and the competitive atmosphere reminded me of being an athlete again. I was hooked.”
“With encouragement from my coaches and after years of training, becoming a CrossFit coach felt like the natural next step. As a special education teacher, I already love helping people build confidence through movement and learning. Coaching CrossFit Kids allows me to combine my two biggest passions—teaching and fitness. There’s nothing better than watching a child learn a new skill, believe in themselves, and realize they’re capable of more than they ever imagined.”
Catch Coach Brittany at the 10AM CrossFit Kids program on Mondays, Wednesday & Thursdays at 10AM or during her regularly scheduled 5AM workouts.

Member of the Month: Art Plata 🌟
Art got into CrossFit 11 years ago by a friend. He drove 60 miles to LA to see her compete. After that comp, Art looked up the nearest CrossFit gym to his house and got his butt kicked so hard when he partnered with a smaller female athlete in a partner WOD. He was hooked from that moment on.
What does he love most about Triad Strength & Conditioning? “Triad has the right vibe. Friendly community and friendly competition is essential to my growth as a CrossFit enthusiast, and both of those aspects are written all over this gym. I appreciate the variety of classes, schedules, and coaching staff. The HYROX Partner workouts are awesome specially when I need a break from lifting heavy barbells”
His favorite CrossFit movement: A good Clean and jerk during a metcon
His least favorite CrossFit movement: Burpee box jump overs 🤮

A coach-led team workout designed for our members to challenge themselves and build up teamwork.
🤝 9AM – FREE Community Team WOD
Open to everyone! Bring a friend, try a class for free, and experience what the Triad community is all about.
🏃 10AM – HYROX90 / Open Gym
A 90-minute HYROX training session focused on HYROX specific conditioning, or use the time as Open Gym if you’re a member and want to follow your own training.
No matter your fitness level, there’s a place for you on Saturday.
