“I don’t have time.”
“God will take care of it.”
“My body doesn’t matter.”
These sound spiritual - but they’re not.
They’re just dressed-up excuses.
Scripture doesn’t give us permission to neglect the body. It gives us a framework to steward it:
Genesis 2:15 - Work and care started before the fall.
Luke 12:48 - You’re accountable for what you’ve been given.
Ephesians 5:16 - Time is meant to be redeemed, not wasted.
Your health isn’t a side issue. It’s part of your discipleship.
Swipe through to see why faithful stewardship starts by taking responsibility - without guilt, without shame, and without excuses.

Pastor, this isn’t about guilt.
It’s about grace-fueled ownership.
You’ve been entrusted with people’s souls—and your body is part of how you carry that calling.
But too many spiritual leaders are silently suffering under the weight of poor health, fatigue, and habits they never learned how to break.
You’re not weak. You’re just human.
And it’s time we started discipling the whole person—including the physical one.
You don’t need to become a fitness influencer.
You need to become a faithful steward.
One step at a time. One habit at a time.
In grace. With intention. For His glory.
You don’t have to do this alone.
If you’re a pastor or ministry leader ready to start showing up stronger in body and spirit—reach out.
Comment READY and I will reach out to you. I’ll help you build a plan that honors your calling and your health.
Let’s get to work. :raised_hands:

Burn out isn’t just about doing too much — it’s about doing too much disconnected from God.
The problem isn’t activity. The problem is striving in your own strength.
Even good things like ministry, parenting, and leadership can become burdens when your spiritual input can’t support your output.
John 15:5 isn’t figurative:
“Apart from Me, you can do nothing.”
This includes your health.
When you neglect rest, movement, and nourishment — in the name of productivity or even service — you’re not being faithful. You’re being self-reliant.
You don’t get bonus points for burn out.
God cares more about fruit that remains than effort that exhausts.
