Greater Memphis Soccer Association (GMSA): The Largest Adult Organization In The Mid-South

The Greater Memphis Soccer Association is the largest adult soccer organization in the Mid-South. GMSA consists of 75-85 outdoor teams and 1200+ players in multiple men's, women's and coed divisions, as well as a 7v7 over-35 men's division. The league holds regular 11v11 outdoor leagues in the Spring and Fall, an informal 7v7 summer league, and a winter indoor league (indoor occasionally held during the summer also).

Does World Cup fever have you itching to get back on the field? Well, you don't have to wait much longer. The GMSA Fall 2026 season will be starting in late August, which means registration is right around the corner.

If you're looking to join an existing GMSA team, or enter a brand new team of your own, now is the time to get started! Details are available at memphissoccer.com on how you can form a team. Just read the details on the "Form A Team" page, and fill out the Prospective New Team form.

If you're looking to JOIN an existing team, post your information in the Message Forum, under the "Players Seeking Teams" section. Teams who are looking to add to their roster will generally look there first for new talent and "free agents". They can get in touch with you and discuss joining their team. (Be sure to read the "sticky thread" at the top of the Forum to see what you should include in your post.)

Last season, GMSA had 65 teams across our Men's 11v11, Coed 11v11, and Legends 7v7 divisions...multiple divisions for multiple fitness levels and skill levels. So there's a division that fits just about everyone, regardless of age or skill. (All players must be at least 18 years of age.)

In years gone by, the Maybry Cup semis or finals were usually going on the same night we'd have RIBS night at Mellow Mushroom, which means some of you couldn't make it. But this year, no games are scheduled tonight! So you've got no excuse to miss it!

Even if you hate pizza (and if you do, see a doctor), Mellow Mushroom has awesome salads, calzones, burgers, and more! So you've REALLY got no excuse. Dine in or take out (no 3rd party apps, direct orders only).

Join us tonight at Mellow Mushroom from 5:00 to 10:00 pm, and 15% of your tab will go directly to RIBS...which means 15% of your tab is going directly to help the kids at LeBonheur, through their Neuroscience Institute & NICU.

Tell the family, tell a friend, tell a neighbor, tell random strangers on the street. Hope to see everyone there!

Join us for dinner TONIGHT at Mellow Mushroom and help RIBS donate more to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital!

Generous owners Steve & Julie are giving 15% of every tab to RIBS, and all of our proceeds support the kids at Le Bonheur.

Enjoy great pizza (or a salad!) while supporting an amazing cause.

Thanks for your support, Mellow Mushroom. See everyone there!

All the more reason to wear normal sized shin guards. If you wear those tiny things, or try to get away with not wearing them at all, THIS is what can happen. I'll never understand why anyone would do otherwise.

Lewis Holtby suffered a gruesome injury in the Eredivisie today 😳

He was wearing tiny shin pads at the time 🤦‍♂️
