What if the person who needed help was you?
What if it was your child’s brother or sister, a grandparent, or another family member?
Would your child know what to do? Would they recognize life-threatening bleeding? Would they know what equipment could be used—and how to use it—while waiting for emergency responders?
These are difficult questions, but they point to an important truth: emergencies don’t always happen when a trained professional is standing nearby.
This Monday, PB Group is bringing Basic First Aid: Control Bleeding to Melbourne. In this hands-on class, homeschool students will learn practical skills, work with real first-aid equipment, and practice responding calmly and safely when someone needs help.
This isn’t about frightening students. It’s about replacing uncertainty with knowledge—and helping young people become more capable, confident, and prepared.
We invite homeschool families from Melbourne, Palm Bay, West Melbourne, Viera, Rockledge, Cocoa, Sebastian, and throughout Central and South Brevard to join us.
