The Mechanicsville Athletic Department is excited to welcome Jacob Smither as one of our new Assistant Athletic Directors!

Jacob is a graduate of Randolph-Macon College, where he played baseball. He has served as a Special Education teacher at Mechanicsville High School for the past five years and has been the Head JV Baseball Coach for the past four years.

Jacob has already made a tremendous impact on our students both in and out of the classroom, and we are thrilled to have him take on this new role supporting Mustang Athletics.

“I look forward to supporting students beyond the classroom and watching them grow and thrive through their involvement in sports, clubs, and other extracurricular activities.”
