Let’s jump on this thing about “ how and when to play the wind for deer hunting! Now all the experts out there say that if your wind is not right that you shouldn’t be hunting that stand; but we say something totally different, yes we said it, we (me) in particular actually want to hunt any and every windy day and stand, scenario that I can, why, you ask, well one particular reason and really the only reason is because, I hunt with SCENTS, yes, believe it or not, some of us actually hunt during windy days when yall say you shouldn’t, but, here’s the deal, the scents we use are actually our own 601 Outdoor Scents, that are made, bottled, and shipped from South Mississippi, and that bad wind you guys preach about, actually helps carry those scents out farther from my stands to the game that I am hunting. If that animal comes across that scent AND IT APPEALS TO IT’s liking chances are that it will come in to investigate it whether it’s a Doe N Heat, a Glandular, Cover or Food Attractant scent and likely will become table fare, while you wait on that perfect wind for you to hunt. Yes , I play the wind too as a way to get those scents out farther to the game, but, here’s something you should know about scents, it doesn’t matter what brand or kind of scents you use, the game that you pursue, MUST BE IN THE AREA, to smell it or you, AND it must process that scent through it’s nose to see whether it’s appealing or alarming to them at that particular moment as to how they move…. Ponder that and let’s see those rebuttals
Anyway that’s my opinion on that subject
Hunt while you can, because one lost day is something you’ll never get back

DEER TALK TODAY:
A few folks have asked if our farm fresh deer urine scents have to be refridgerated and here’s what we tested with and let me say that zero preservatives were added, only the 100% farm fresh urine bottled in a plastic or glass bottle with sprayer or squeeze cap and kept in back of my sxs in my shop, it was sprayed every week to check for ammonia smell and purity tested weekly and our end results were that on day 115 we had a semi mild aroma of ammonia in it, so with that being said, no it doesn’t need refrigeration unless you want to keep it longer? Best way to test it either refrigerated or not is a smell test, but know this that a deer’s nose is much stronger and more likely to pick up that going bad aroma before you will, so it doesn’t need to be instantly refrigerated when you get it
