We had the privilege of being serenaded by Camden Caldwell-Marler while friends, families, and collectors filled the shop. From great music to great conversations, today was a celebration of community and everything we love about this town.

To everyone who stopped by, shared a laugh, made a trade, or simply enjoyed the atmosphere—thank you. You make Hometown Hits more than a card shop. You make it a gathering place.

Sunday, we thought we were hosting a card show.

We couldn’t have been more wrong.

What we witnessed was a community.

We saw seasoned vendors slow down to teach a kid how to make their first trade. We watched young collectors learn that entrepreneurship isn’t just about making money—it’s about earning trust, building relationships, and serving people.

We saw strangers become friends over a shared hobby.

In a world where so much happens through screens, hundreds of people spent the day shaking hands, sharing stories, making trades, and investing in one another.

That’s bigger than cards.

That’s how communities are built.

To every vendor, collector, family, volunteer, and guest who joined us—thank you. You didn’t just make this event successful.

You strengthened a community.

The cards were the excuse.

The people were the reason. ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to Collective Coffee. What started as two groups sitting around a table throwing around an idea became hundreds of people coming together around a shared passion. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner. Thank you for believing in the vision and helping bring it to life.

A special thank you to The Guava Tree for stepping in when our rented tables arrived damaged. Your willingness to provide tables on short notice kept the show running smoothly, and we’re incredibly grateful for your generosity and support.

That’s what community looks like.
