Good morning everyone,
This will be the first of many thank you’s today for all the volunteers that and preparing, setting up, and supporting our 34th year SVRC Golf Tournament today.
Thank you to the set up crew at the club, what a fantastic presentation.
Thank you to Andrea and the registration team for greeting and hosting all the golfers.
Thank you Mick and the golf course set up crew for putting out the American Flag Pins. What a special honor.
Thank you to Julie Jennings and her crew for running the B**r Cart today.
Thank you Terry and the kitchen crew for the prep and preparing to feed everyone today.
Thank you to the Goodie Bag prep team and all the volunteers that put together and donate raffle and silent auction prizes.
Thank you Missi for all the posts and communication.
There are so many individuals to thank and I will be seeing most of you today and will thank you personally.

We have a 50/50 Raffle starting at registration and we will be selling them throughout the day and at the club before the Silent Auction and Raffle.

Even if you’re not golfing, please come down to the club, have a drink, a great laugh, bid on some stuff, and win a raffle prize.

⛳️ It already feels like a success! ⛳️

A huge thank you to Mick Hanson for bringing together our Squaw Valley Riding Club family and the McCloud community in support of our 37th Annual Golf Tournament.

Before a single ball is even whacked off the first tee, this event already feels like a winner. ❤️

So many people have stepped up — donating, sponsoring, volunteering, decorating, organizing, gathering raffle prizes, and doing all those behind-the-scenes things that make an event like this happen.

Thank you to EVERYONE who has had a hand in making it come together. We couldn’t do it without you!

A big thank you to the members who joined us for Thirsty Thursday and passed the hat to sponsor a tee at our upcoming Golf Tournament! ❤️

What started as a casual Thursday get-together has become a great way to enjoy good food, a few drinks, lots of laughs, and even better company — and this week, that friendship turned into support for the Golf Tournament. We appreciate everyone who chipped in!

And members - if you haven’t been in a while, or haven't joined us for Thirsty Thursday, come on down. Grab a drink, pull up a chair, and enjoy an evening with your fellow members. You never know what we might be cooking up next!

This year, you'll notice that Hole #4 at our 37th Annual Golf Tournament will have a sign dedicated to the memory of Adrienne Jones, who was such a fun part of our tournament for many years. Adrienne could often be found volunteering out on Hole #4, enjoying the day, visiting with the golfers, and loving every minute of it. Her enthusiasm and fun-loving spirit were always a welcome sight on the course.

A very special thank you to her daughter, Sandy Berry, for sponsoring the tee and giving us the opportunity to remember Adrienne in a place where she shared so many good times.

Come on down to the SVRC Clubhouse on Saturday, September 12 for dinner, drinks, raffles, and a fun night out following the Golf Tournament!

🍽️ Dinner at 5:00 PM — $25 per person
🍺 No-host bar with some of the best prices in town!

Thanks are due to Wheeler Ranch and owners Dan and Julie Wheeler for sponsoring a tee at our 37th Annual Golf Tournament! Dan is also our Club President, and he’ll be putting in a full day at this year’s tournament — bartending, golfing, and emceeing the festivities! Julie will be serving beers on the course and helping with dinner. We appreciate Dan and Julie for stepping up to support this important fundraiser and helping make the day a fun one for everyone.

Here is another chance to say a big thank you to a member for sponsoring a tee at our upcoming golf tournament! JP Plumbing owners Justin and Kyla (hometown girl) are SVRC members who may live out of the area these days, but they continue to find ways to support the club and the events that keep it going. Thank you to Mark Lewis at Sundial Dentistry in Redding for sponsoring a tee at our 37th Annual Golf Tournament! One of the things we appreciate most about this fundraiser is seeing just how far the support for our club reaches. It extends beyond our local community to friends, family, and businesses from outside the area who are willing to step up and support the club.

This year, Hole #7 at our 37th Annual Golf Tournament will hold a little extra meaning as we dedicate it to the memory of Anna and Kevin Snider. There couldn’t be a more fitting hole for this tribute. Years ago, Kevin accomplished something on the 7th hole that every golfer dreams about — a hole-in-one! We hope everyone who steps up to the seventh tee this year will take a moment to remember Anna and Kevin and the memories they shared with so many in our community.
