I invite you to join me and come out to The People for Public Schools Organizing Rally at Cine El Rey in McAllen. Come out to meet my mom and hear her speak for 4-5 minutes about her work and her advocacy for public education here in Hidalgo County. Doors open at 6 PM.

It would mean so much to our family to see friends, educators, families, and members of the community there to show up, learn more, and be part of the conversation about the future of our public’s schools.

We will also be giving out a select number of shirts to those that attend! Hope to see some familiar faces tonight ♥️🎉

💛 The Star on the Mountain will light up gold on September 1st and 30th in honor of National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and in celebration of El Paso Children’s Hospital’s extraordinary commitment to our region’s youngest fighters. 🎗️ As the only hospital in the entire region to join the Children’s Oncology Group, EPCH has diagnosed over 1,000 new pediatric oncology patients, celebrated 16 bell-ringing ceremonies this year marking children in remission, and in 2026 alone, welcomed nearly 40 newly diagnosed children, 27 of whom were enrolled in Project: EveryChild and 10 in therapeutic trials. Their research team also achieved a flawless 100% Data Currency Score from COG, reflecting their unwavering dedication to patient safety and cutting-edge research. Because of the incredible work being done right here in El Paso, over 85% of pediatric cancer patients can receive world-class treatment without ever having to leave home. This one is for every child, every family, and every member of the EPCH team who shows up for them every single day. 💛🎗️
