The currency of Heaven is perfection.

And that’s the problem because we are far from it.

No amount of good deeds, church attendance, generosity, or trying to be a “good person” can erase our sin. God is holy, and perfection is the standard.

That’s why we need Jesus.

He lived the perfect life we couldn’t live, died the death we deserved, and rose again. Through faith in Him, we don’t stand before God relying on our own righteousness. We stand covered in His.

We could never earn Heaven.

Jesus paid the price.

“For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.” — Hebrews 10:14

We can say the right things. Do good things. Serve people. Give generously. Even look like we have it all together.

But if love isn’t at the core of what we do, it’s all for nothing.

The question is: Who’s sitting on the throne of your heart?

Money, success, possessions, approval—none of it belongs there. External riches will never fill a place that was created for Christ.

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”

We must put Christ on the throne. Let everything else flow from there.
