MEET ELIZABETH THOMPSON 💪🏽
NASM Certified Personal Trainer | Team TriFit
What began with curiosity became a passion for helping others discover their own strength.
Elizabeth entered the gym with an open mind and a desire to learn. Through her own journey of building muscle and losing body fat, she discovered how much effort, patience, and consistency real progress requires.
That experience inspired her to share what she had learned with others. Elizabeth earned her NASM Personal Trainer Certification in July 2025 and remains committed to expanding her knowledge and continuing to grow as a coach.
Before joining TriFit, Elizabeth gained experience providing individual personal training at YMCA locations. Many of her clients begin feeling intimidated, uncertain about their form, or afraid to exercise independently. She helps them build a strong foundation, understand each movement, and develop the confidence to eventually follow a personalized program on their own.
Elizabeth also has experience working with children with special needs and individuals who may feel uncomfortable in large group settings. She creates a patient, welcoming environment and can train during quieter times to make fitness feel comfortable and enjoyable.
For intermediate lifters, Elizabeth specializes in strength training and the foundational lifts, including the squat, bench press, and deadlift. She helps clients improve technique, understand effective coaching cues, and learn how to brace properly with a lifting belt.
She is especially passionate about helping women experience how empowering strength can be while understanding the importance of muscle for confidence, capability, and long-term bone health. ❤️
Outside of coaching, Elizabeth competes in powerlifting. She also shares her home with three cats, one dog, and one gecko. If she isn’t lifting something heavy, she is probably renovating, starting a new project, or decorating for the next season. 😂
Say hello to Elizabeth below! 👋🏽 If you have trained with her, show her some love!
