Come frolic with friends for what promises to be a fabulous evening for running. Mostly sunny, temps hovering around 82, a cool breeze, sure a touch of humidity to remind you it’s still August, and a spectacular sunset to cap your evening over a tasty beverage. We converge at 6:45pm for a quick picture, then run/walk a delightful 1-3-5+ Mile route thru Matthews & Greenway. Join us, we’ll be glad you did.

It’s going to be HOT, so hydrate before you come, bring water, slow the pace down and listen to your body. The miles will still be there. 😉

Charlotte Running Company & Adidas Shoes joining us tonight so come by before our 6:45pm start to try on shoes for your run. You may have noticed that the intense heat & humidity are back in full force so slow your run pace, hydrate before, during, and after your run. Be an UPRIGHT runner cause prostration is for naps not running!

Sure, humidity is rated as extreme but that just matches your extreme awesomeness! Temps will be in your favor and because it’s August there is a chance of a thunderstorm around 7:23pm (your experience may vary). None of that matters because we run at 6:45pm for our regular 1-3-5+ Mile jaunt thru Matthews & Greenway. Remember, today is National Night Out (all the more reason for you to be out) and Matthews has an event in Stumptown Park, so use the left side of Trade to traipse your way to the Greenway.

Charlotte Running Company & TOPO Shoes joining us tonight for our regular 1-3-5+ Mile run at 6:45pm thru Matthews & Greenway. The forecasted rain, wind, thunderstorms, hail and Armageddon keep pushing later into the evening as in 7:30-8 or later (🤞 ) plus humidity will be the usual (OMG - SO HOT) so you’ll be soaked either way. Sounds perfect - one might say FABULOUS running conditions! We know you’re nuts so come be crazy with us! We’ll be glad you did.

HOT RUNNERS will gather at 6:45pm tonight for our regular 1-3-5+ Mile scamper thru Matthews & Greenway. BUT FIRST, savvy runners will arrive early to greet CHARLOTTE RUNNING COMPANY & ASICS Shoes so you can try on ASICS for your run. It will be cooler at Run Time since temps will be 91 vs the recent temps on the Sun! Doubt you’ll be able to discern the difference so grumble & mumble your way thru your run. Beer is cold!

Bastille Day - Come storm your Run; it’s all the rage! Join us at 6:45pm for our 1-3-5+ Mile Run/Walk/Saunter/Skip/Sashay thru Matthews & Greenway. Whatever your gait, we can’t wait to see you out here with us. Just move those feet and then hang out after for a celebratory beverage and delightful banter. Sure, it will be muggish but only around 83 at Run Time.

Tonight, 6:45pm, we run-sweat-imbibe thru gloriously humid 1-3-5+ Miles of Matthews and Greenway with temps hovering around 88 but feel like 95 and 60% humidity (extreme) all of which is a HUGE improvement from the weekend! Now that we have you all motivated 😁, lace ‘em up and come trot with us. We’ll be glad you did and you’ll be all so proud of yourself!

Charlotte Running Company along with Saucony will be joining us tonight for our regular 1-3-5+ Mile jaunt thru Matthews & Greenway. Come up a bit early for our 6:45pm start to demo Saucony shoes on your run. Start hydrating now and slow your roll tonight. It will be around 90 and feel a lot hotter with humidity at Run Time! Heat waves are no joke - listen to your body as long as your body says “gotta run tonight”.

Join us this evening at 6:45pm for our regular, joyous run thru Matthews & the Greenway. The bit of rain you might see between now and then will miraculously dissipate by run time! The humidity won’t, so you’re gonna be wet no matter what. Besides rain is needed to grow; hence, come grow with us! It’s a FABULOUS experience.
