25 Years. We Remember.
Twenty-five years ago today, our country changed forever.
For those of us who worked in law enforcement, September 11, 2001, is a date that will never fade from our memories. I had just finished my shift that morning when the events of that day unfolded.
Over the 24 years I spent in law enforcement, I was reminded again and again of the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of those who put the safety of others before themselves.
Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost, the first responders who never made it home, the families who were forever changed, and the countless people who answered the call to help.
Twenty-five years later, we remember.
We honor.
We will never forget.
