Korporal Punishment Pulling Team

Korporal Punishment Pulling Team Les Korporal, owner of Modern Motorsports, competes in the Grand National Modified circuit In 2009, the third Korporal Punishment was built.

Les started pulling garden tractors in 1982, and built the first Korporal Punishment pulling tractor in 1995. In 2005, he graduated to a single engine Modified Tractor with the Indiana Pulling League. Then, in 2021 a twin super-charged NTPA Region Modified Tractor was built. In 2022, the third engine was added and moved into the Grand National Series. The tractor currently runs 3, 526 cubic inch MBR Hemis and a Modern Motorsports chassis producing 9,000 horsepower on methanol alcohol.

Well after a rough ride, the left engine decided to toss a rod out of oil pan. Our 1st engine breakage of the year. We did do enough to qualify for the Mitas Allstar pull 6th year in a row. Going to do some wrenching next couple days hope to see everyone next weekend in Urbana Ohio.

Rough weekend in Rockwell, nothing broke though. On to BG in 2 weeks!

On a personal note, I have traveled to Fort Recovery for close to 50 years. I have seen all the " great pullers" pull there at one time. So I am grateful without words to express that they decided to have Korporal Punishment on the event shirt this year! On a side note it's really cool to be on the shirt with my good friend Van Haisley since we are both from Grant county Indiana. Thanks again Ambassadors see ya next year!
