Last night we celebrated our newest KA Marietta black belts, and those advancing to their next degree, at the Soap & Candle Ceremony. 🥋🕯️The ceremony is a meaningful ATA tradition honoring the journey to black belt, which reminds our candidates to reflect on the hard work and sacrifices that brought them here, recognize the family, friends, and instructors who supported them, and embrace the greater responsibility that comes with leadership.
Black belt isn’t the finish line—it’s the beginning of a new chapter of learning, leadership, and service.
Most importantly, this journey is never taken alone. We are proud to celebrate the students, families, and instructors who have supported one another every step of the way. From cheering each other on at testing and tournaments, to encouraging one another through challenging classes, helping younger students, sharing rides, and celebrating every achievement, our ATA family grows stronger by uplifting and inspiring one another. Together, we celebrate not just the black belt, but the people and community who helped make the journey possible. ❤️
