Still an Athlete
Cleans followed by box jumps—the classical complex training model. 💪🏾⚡️
At this point in my life, I’m no longer chasing the highest vertical or trying to throw down a 360 dunk. But I’m still an athlete by nature.
My goal is simple: continue doing the things I’ve been trying to do since childhood for as long as my body allows me.
I know there will eventually come a day when I can’t do everything I can do today. But I’m grateful to still have the ability to demonstrate what’s possible.
More importantly, I hope this inspires men in the generations behind me to understand that getting older doesn’t mean you have to stop being active, athletic, or challenging yourself.
You can continue to perform at a high level if you choose to.
Stay active. Keep moving. Keep challenging yourself.
Peace and blessings. Have a blessed day. 🙏🏾

NS Talk — 8.23.26: The Value of a Good Sweat
I needed some water—this heat is dehydrating my lips all of a sudden, lol. But it got me thinking about something I truly believe:
I wish anyone listening great success on your journey.
In my opinion, fitness is a portal. It’s a way to bring everything together—your body, your mind, your emotions, your discipline, and your focus.
There’s something about a good workout where you can walk in carrying a hundred different thoughts, problems, and stresses, and somehow, by the time you’re finished, things just start to make sense.
It’s almost like my mind automatically begins resolving things subconsciously while I’m working out. I’m sweating, moving, breathing, pushing myself—and somewhere in that process, I’m working through things without even realizing it.
Holistically, I think we underestimate the value of a good sweat.
It’s not just about building muscle, losing weight, getting faster, or looking better.
Sometimes, that workout is where you find clarity.
Sometimes, it’s where you reset.
Sometimes, it’s where you leave behind what was bothering you and walk away with a completely different perspective.
So whatever your journey looks like, keep moving. Keep challenging yourself. Keep showing up.
Because fitness isn’t just something you do for your body.
It can be a powerful tool for bringing your whole self together.
Go get that sweat. 💪🏾

At 46, I can honestly say this:
Some of my greatest lessons came from the mistakes I made in my 20s and 30s.
These days, I no longer train to punish my body.
I train to strengthen my life.
To move well.To feel alive. To stay capable, clear, and free for as long as possible.
Getting older isn’t the problem.
Disconnecting from your body is.
Your 40s and 50s can be some of your strongest years—physically, mentally, and spiritually.
But only if you’re willing to evolve. 💪✨🙏
