Congratulations to Jeff Hopp on being inducted into the GATA Hall of Fame!

A graduate of Mankato State University with 32 years as a certified athletic trainer, Jeff has dedicated his career to serving student-athletes at Marietta High School with excellence, integrity, and unwavering care. Widely known for his expertise, Jeff has become a go-to leader in the profession—often summed up by the phrase, “Just ask Jeff.”

Beyond his daily work, Jeff has shaped the profession through decades of mentorship, advocacy, and leadership, including service within the Georgia Athletic Trainers’ Association and SEATA. He has supported countless students and young professionals, expanded access to the field through scholarship and mentorship, and helped advance best practices that improve student-athlete safety across the state.

Jeff’s influence extends far beyond the athletic training room—he is a mentor, advocate, and connector who continues to elevate the profession and those within it.
