As we begin this exciting new chapter, we're especially grateful for our veterinarians who have walked alongside us through some of our horses' most challenging moments.

They take the time to know each horse as an individual—to understand their history, their personality, their medical needs, and the life they've lived.

That kind of partnership is invaluable.

One of the things that makes Red Heart Horse unique is that every Red Heart horse was first a Sunny Brook Stables horse. They weren't purchased to become sanctuary horses. They became family long before they needed retirement, rehabilitation, or specialized care.

We've watched these horses teach hundreds of children to ride, build confidence, and create lifelong memories. As they age or face medical challenges, they don't leave our family—they simply begin a new chapter within it.

That's the promise of Red Heart Horse.

This move to Milton allows us to continue honoring that promise while also placing our horses closer to emergency veterinary services and additional equine resources. That means quicker access to specialized care and even greater peace of mind for the horses who depend on us every day.

A New Chapter Begins ❤️

Some chapters are written one lesson at a time.

Others begin with the courage to dream a little bigger.

This August, Sunny Brook Stables | Home of Red Heart Horse is excited to begin a new chapter as we move to our new home in Milton.

While our address is changing, the heart of Sunny Brook remains exactly the same.

For years, families have trusted us to introduce children to horses through thoughtful riding instruction, horsemanship, camps, and a community built on kindness, confidence, and stewardship.

Our new home allows that vision to grow.

With expanded facilities and a covered riding arena, we will continue serving children while creating new opportunities for adult riders, clinics, retreats, educational experiences, shows, and the continued growth of Red Heart Horse Retirement, Rehab & Rescue, our 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to giving horses meaningful next chapters through lifelong care, rehabilitation, retirement, and compassionate stewardship.

We believe horses change lives.

They help children discover confidence.

They welcome adults back to dreams they thought they had left behind.

They remind us that every life—and every chapter—has value.

We are incredibly grateful to every family, volunteer, supporter, and friend who has helped shape Sunny Brook into what it is today.

Now, we look forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces as we begin this next chapter together.

August enrollment is now open, and lesson availability will remain initially intentionally limited so we can continue providing the thoughtful, personal experience our riders and horses deserve.

The best chapters are still ahead.

Even in the middle of a Georgia heat wave, our horses' comfort comes first.

Cooling showers, fresh water, shade, fans, and lots of breaks help keep everyone safe during these hot summer days.

This photo may make us laugh—but it's also a great reminder that horse care, especially our Red Heart retired, rehabbed, and rescued horse care, changes with the weather.
