Centering 10. Edges 10. Auto 10. Final grade: 8.5. One category is the whole story.
Surface came back at 7.5, and on a card like this, that's the category that decides everything. Hyper parallels carry a foil finish that shows its whole life under angled light. Every touch, every trip in and out of a sleeve leaves a little something behind. Nothing dramatic here, just enough surface wear under magnification to take a gem off the table.
A card can look flawless in hand and tell a different story under the light and equipment. Our job is reading that story honestly, even on a card this rare.
