Your high notes don’t have to be either breathy or pushed. 👀🎤
Mix gives you the middle: power, clarity, and freedom without forcing.

that moment your voice just… breaks mid-word 😭

that “break” isn’t your voice being broken — it’s just your chest voice and head voice not connecting yet. most people either push through it or avoid the notes near it completely. neither one fixes it.

the actual fix is training the two to blend so there’s no gap to fall into in the first place — no yelling, no avoiding, just a smooth transition ❤️

that tightening isn’t random — it’s usually your larynx spiking up and your throat bracing because you’re forcing the sound out instead of letting it happen. more push = more grip = less room for the note to actually come out.
the fix isn’t “try harder,” it’s the opposite — release the tension, let your larynx stay neutral or lower and relaxed, and stop forcing air through a tight space.

A sore voice shouldn’t be your normal. 🎤💛

Your voice needs preparation, not just more singing.

Consistent, intentional exercises can help you build better coordination and make singing feel easier.

You don’t need hundreds of random exercises.

You need the “right ones.”

F #5 used to make me hold my breath and pray 😅

for the longest time I thought hitting it meant bringing more — more chest, more push, more weight to “power through.” that’s exactly what makes it feel impossible.

the real move is the opposite — thinning out instead of loading it up. less weight means your cords can stay connected without straining, and suddenly the note that felt terrifying just... sits there

okay this note humbled me before it made sense 😅

for the longest time I thought hitting high notes just meant practicing more. spoiler: it doesn’t. you need the RIGHT exercises for what your voice needs, not just the same warmup on repeat.

once I figured that out, notes like this one stopped feeling impossible 🎤

Which one is your favorite?
And which suits this song the best? ⬇️

not me finally figuring out why I always sounded like I was yelling instead of singing 😅

for the longest time I thought singing louder = singing better. more push, more chest, more “just belt it out.” turns out that’s exactly what makes it sound like yelling instead of singing.

the fix isn’t about being louder or quieter — it’s about getting your cords to stay connected without cranking up all that extra force.
