Funny how life comes full circle.

Standing among the same cornfields, their green stalks rustling softly in the warm breeze, and walking the familiar dirt paths of my family farm that I once couldn’t wait to leave, I feel something completely different now. The farm hasn’t changed much—the fields still stretch to the horizon beneath wide blue skies, the scent of fresh earth and cut hay still lingers in the air, the weathered barns still stand where they’ve always been, and life still moves at its own steady pace, accompanied by the distant hum of tractors and the chorus of birds overhead. But I have. The restlessness that used to make me look beyond the horizon has been replaced by gratitude, perspective, and a deeper appreciation for the things I once overlooked.
