I stopped adding plates when I realized I already had five better options.
The funny part is, this actually feels like a pretty good picture of fatherhood. The weight keeps changing, the load gets heavier, and somehow you get stronger because you have to.
I train because I love it, but I also train because I want to be the dad who can still carry them, wrestle with them, coach them, chase them, and say yes when they all decide to climb on the bar at once.
Five kids is a lot of progressive overload.
