LOOKING FOR MORE THAN REC VOLLEYBALL — WITHOUT THE FULL TRAVEL COMMITMENT?
That’s exactly why we created the Southern Elite Academy.
Our Academy program is designed for athletes ages 8–13 who are ready to take the next step in volleyball, but may not be ready or need the time, cost, and travel commitment of a traditional travel club season.
Academy gives athletes the opportunity to experience real club volleyball development in a schedule that works for families.
🏐 What can you expect from the season?
Players will participate in regular team practices focused on fundamentals, volleyball IQ, game play, and position development. As the season progresses, we want athletes learning not only how to perform a skill, but how to use those skills confidently in a competitive environment.
🏆 Competition stays local.
Academy teams compete in local tournaments, giving players valuable match experience without families spending weekends traveling throughout the region.
📅 A manageable November–April season.
We intentionally designed Academy to work well for younger athletes and multi-sport families while still providing the consistency needed to see meaningful growth.
💚 Most importantly, we want athletes to LOVE playing volleyball.
Academy is about building skills, confidence, teamwork and a strong foundation for athletes who may eventually want to move into our Regional or Elite programs—or simply become stronger, more confident volleyball players.

Ages 11–13: 2:30–3:30 PM
