Thank you to the Women's Tree Climbing Workshop (WTCW) for hosting a tree climbing workshop for TCIA staff! 🌳

It was an incredible opportunity to step out of the office and experience firsthand a small part of what so many of our members do every day. Through hands-on learning, our team gained valuable insights into the skills, challenges and dedication that define the tree care industry.

Experiences like this help us better understand, support and connect with the professionals we serve. From all of us at TCIA, thank you to the WTCW team for sharing your knowledge and making it such a memorable day!

We're excited to share this incredible project with the arboriculture community at TCI EXPO 2026.

After more than three years of filming, travel, and storytelling, the team behind The Arborist is preparing to launch a seven-part docu-series that explores the people, innovations, and stories that have shaped our industry.

Join us at TCI EXPO 2026 for a special screening and panel discussion featuring some of the individuals who helped bring this project to life. It's a unique opportunity to celebrate the history of arboriculture and hear firsthand from the people whose ideas and dedication have influenced the way we work today.

We can't wait to share this experience with attendees in Fort Lauderdale.

Struggling to find qualified employees? Tired of hiring "perfect" candidates who don't work out?

The solution may not be finding better people — it may be developing them.

An apprenticeship program gives tree care companies the ability to hire for attitude, values and culture fit first, then build technical skills through a structured training pathway. Instead of reacting to a limited labor pool, you can create a pipeline of future arborists who are trained to your standards and invested in your company's success. Apprenticeships are increasingly recognized as a powerful tool for workforce development, retention and long-term business growth.
