💛 We’re halfway through Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and we want to take a moment to spotlight one of our own dancers, Lena.
Lena was diagnosed with leukemia in February of this year and began her final round of front-line treatment earlier this month. While her treatment will continue for the next two years, we are incredibly proud of the courage, determination, and work ethic she has shown throughout this journey.
Even while continuing chemotherapy, Lena was able to return to the stage in May and compete at Nationals in June — something that speaks volumes about her strength and love of dance. 💛
