Virginia Scuba

The ladies kicked off Girls Dive 2026 today in Beautiful Bonaire! We had a lovely afternoon and evening here at the resort, getting rested up, because, tomorrow we DIVE!!!!

What a busy weekend as we celebrated America's 250th! In Florida, we had divers complete their Recreational Decompression and others complete XR Trimix. Congratulations to all that made the journey and earned their new skills.
Closer to home, several of us were at Lake Phoenix for the dive club 4th of July cookout. Along with the dive club gathering, there were a few training sessions going on. We want to congratulate our new Sidemount diver and say great work to our Perfect Buoyancy participant. There was also Stress and Rescue going on and the beginning of a Divemaster course. Good job on the work that went into those courses and a huge thank you to our divers that joined us to play "victim" and "tourists". As always, we sincerely appreciate those that trust us with their training needs and those that just continue Livin' the Dive Life with us!!

Please note that we will be closed Saturday July 4 and Sunday July 5. We will be at Lake Phoenix celebrating the Independence holiday with the dive club at their annual July 4th weekend cookout. We will operate on normal schedule next week.
If you have not done so already, please let the dive club know that you are joining them this weekend so they can plan food and add you to the lake roster!

Now that we are back home safe and sound, here is a little recap of our adventures in Belize. Thank you so much to everyone who joined us and made Monica's birthday week a memorable one!

Alas, our last day here in Belize. Some spent a relaxing day at Ramon's and/or exploring San Pedro. Some visited Mayan ruins and went cave tubing. All enjoyed the day! We have had a wonderful week celebrating Monica's birthday with our diving family. Thank you all who joined us and we look forward to our next diving adventures!!

Today's diving was just mind blowing! Eagle rays, sharks, sea goddesses, turtles, etc, etc, then a dolphin!! We capped the evening with a night dive at Hol Chan to finish out our diving for this trip. Can't imagine a much better day to end our diving on than what we had today. Let's see what tomorrow's land adventures have in store for us!

Today was another great day at Turneffe Atoll. We had eagle rays, tuna, jacks, sharks, shrimp and finished dive one with a squadron of squid! Fun times diving while others relaxed back at the resort by the pool For the evening, we scattered about for dinner, so everyone got a little different taste of San Pedro. So far, so good here at Ramon's Village.

It was pretty sporty out on the sea this morning, so we decided to try a rum tasting (at 10am). From there, we strolled through San Pedro, hit the hammocks and pool (with a couple of drinks). And we finished the day with a couple of drinks and dinner on the beach. Not too bad for a day of not diving. Tomorrow we head back to Turneffe Atoll for more diving!!

Today we went to Turneffe Atoll for some calmer waters. The water was clear, warm and full of life. New friends were made along with new memories. We really love this diving stuff!!
