May we never forget the lives lost and always remember the heroes who rose above the call of duty on that day. We recall the courage, compassion, and humanity that was born from an incomprehensible tragedy. Today we pause to honor all lives, people, and communities affected, and those who continue to feel its echo decades later. Today is a Thank a Superintendent Day! We at TPC River’s Bend are so lucky to have such an incredible and dedicated team that takes care of the fairway and all our greens. Our superintendent, Ian Schlather, has been with us for 12 years and we appreciate his commitment to managing irrigation, supervising his team, keeping our course healthy, and so much more.
 
Thank you, Ian for all that you do in maintaining our course and keeping it in top condition! If you see Ian out on the course, make sure to thank him for all his hard work!

As a reminder, our Fall Aerification is coming up next week! Take a look at our updated schedules for the Course & Clubhouse. 
 
Please note that 9/10 our golf course’s open status is to be determined. Ian, our course Superintendent, will be closely monitoring the fairway’s status & health throughout the entire aerification process. He will determine if the course could benefit from an additional day of closure and recovery. We will be sure to communicate this decision to you once Ian has been able to gauge the condition of the course. 
 
Thank you for understanding the work that goes into maintaining a golf course! We are committed to cultivating a course that is healthy and enjoyable to play. Have a great holiday weekend!
