Four weeks.

That’s all it took to remind us that every child’s journey is different. 💚💛💙

When Ben first walked through our doors, he was incredibly shy. For the first week, he wasn’t ready to step onto the mats. So…. We didn’t rush him.

We met him where he was. His parents trusted us.

With patience, encouragement, and some help from Charlie, he took his first step onto the mat. Then he started moving. And today?

He’s proudly wearing his gi and participating in class with a smile.

Sometimes the biggest victories aren’t measured by stripes or medals. They’re measured by courage.

We’re so proud of you, Ben. Thank you for reminding us that confidence doesn’t happen overnight- it grows one small step at a time. 💛💚💙

Just a few months ago, we had the honor of sharing dinner with him, Charles Gracie, and their families - an evening we will now cherish even more. Sitting together in the backyard, surrounded by stories, laughter, and generations of Jiu-Jitsu, is a memory we will never forget.

Marcio was not only a legend in Jiu-Jitsu, but a kind, humble, and warm soul. The impact he had on the art and the people around him will live far beyond the mats.

Our hearts are with his wife, Carla, and the entire Gracie family during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Professor. Your legacy will continue to inspire us always. 🥋🪽
