Our main focus at our Academy is each and every students progression in and outside of the gym. I truly believe in the life impact Jiu Jitsu can have on a child or persons life for the best. Besides just self-defense, and knowledge, you will lose weight, meet fantastic new friends, and gain massive self confidence just from the atmosphere we have created. My passion for the art and teaching along with attention to detail will have you leaving every session feeling fulfilled and ready for the next class. I get asked all the time, “hey can I come to Open Mat Saturday”. Answer is always yes. If you respect my students, the academy, and myself, you are always welcome. Cross training is great. Some people know my students but live across town….. well come train with them some. Prepare for tournaments by getting tough rounds with people you don’t normally train with.

So many people listen to gossip and follow people who have never competed, never won anything, and forbid their students to cross train because they are afraid they will see how little their coach actually knows. I don’t need every student, I have never asked anyone to leave their gym and come to mine, EVER. No need to start now. If you are happy where you are and just want to supplement your training, come on. If you feel you are wasting your time and money…. Come on but that’s up to you. I have 21 years of experience in this field and have reffed thousands of matches. I’ve competed and won at the highest levels, my job now is to pass the knowledge onto others and help them accomplish more than I could have ever dreamed of. If you want to improve, start with attending Open Mats!!!

Going to change the way we accept 5yo kids to help them process the art in a better and more constructive atmosphere. Every 90 days I will have a 4-5yo kids onboarding program to teach them the basics and better prepare them for the bigger 30-40 plus sized kids classes. Going to start with 12 kids and see how they do!!!! Share this and spread the word!!!
