Stefan was back again this past weekend to work with Tami up at Lake Wazee on his Sidewinder CCR crossover certification after having made a couple of changes to his rebreather. He added a dual button MAV (manual add valve that combines oxygen and diluent gas adds), rerouted a couple of hoses and tidied up his sidemount rig. He was able to successfully navigate some persistent issues and dive the unit to 150 ft. with limited decompression! Congratulations, Stefan!

WTF?? (What’s that fish?)
Please feel free to comment or add your own photos. This colorful fish that can be seen on shallow reefs Throughout the Caribbean. That electric blue mustachio and colorful leading edge of the pectoral fin help with the ID. The Initial Phase is darker in color with a broad white body stripe extending to the tail.
Anyone care to guess their name?

Look who acquired a KISS Spirit rebreather - Quincy did! We've dedicated a bit of time tearing it down to the o-rings and rebuilding all of the systems. It's now s**c and span, and ready to dive! We can't wait to see him in the water on this new-to-him unit racking up hours this fall!!
This was just the start! Three more students with new-to-them rebreathers will be traveling here for full rebuilds and classes beginning this week!

We're running a PADI Rescue Diver course September 19 and 20 and we're looking for another diver (or two) interested in joining in! Most divers find Rescue training both demanding and rewarding, and at the end, say it’s the best course they’ve ever taken!
Advanced Open Water and CPR certification are required prerequisites for Rescue, and before the class, there's an elearning to complete (registration on padi.com)
If you need CPR Gayle has offered to hold on a DAN Basic First Aid/CPR class on the evening of September 14th. Two people minimum are required for the class to run, and you must sign up no later than September 10th.
Let us know if you're interested in either or both of these opportunities or have questions. Hope you can join us!
