It was a beautiful day for our year-end event; congratulations to the team of Linda Briggs, Nancy Poole and Deb Diamond shooting a 66 taking first place, Wendy Benson, Laura Parman and Connie Brachman shooting a 68 for second place and Peg Carlson, Tina Parman and Cherie Miller shooting a 72 clenching third place!

Several of our league members played in the 10th Women's Public Links tournament this weekend.

Congratulations to Peg Carlson for placing second gross and first net in Championship flight and to Xia Xie who placed second gross in the A flight!

This week, a number of our members played in the WSGA Women's Scramble Championship at Wanaki Golf Club.

Congratulations to Robin Andrews and partner Tam Flarup on their first place gross and net tie for first in third flight!

Congratulations also to Linda Kilgore (playing in her first WSGA event!) and her partner for net tie first place in third flight!

Recent surprises at Yahara and Odana - Golf Madison Parks!

In addition to our regular league play at Odana this morning, 4 of our players enjoyed another day of competitive golf at the Meadows of Sixmile Creek.

WMGA golf friends celebrate milestone birthdays with lunch after golf today.

It was a great Fun Day of golf at Yahara! The course is maturing and improving and our members, old and new enjoyed the day!

If you're looking for a great league, we continually welcome new players ~ come have fun with the WMGA 18 hole group, playing Tuesday mornings throughout the summer; Golf Madison Parks with us!

We had our first league play day today at Yahara - Golf Madison Parks. Improvements to the course and clubhouse were noted and appreciated!

Many of our other players were in the 2 day Wisconsin State Golf Association Women's Senior Four-Ball Championship at The Beloit Club. Congratulations to Jane Bowden and partner Linda Briggs for placing 3rd gross in 1st flight and 2nd net in 1st flight!
