It’s officially that time of year. Still no better set up for cyclocross than tubulars

We’re back!
Very excited to announce some of the details for our Neff Cycle Service Team race at Badger Prairie.
Registration should be up very soon.
Stoked to offer, for the first time, a Jr payout. A little extra support for all the rippers we have these days.

Also, don’t forget, first Madison cyclocross practice at Olbrich tomorrow at 5:30pm!

Busy, busy around the shop! Can’t believe it’s already well into August.
Ironman and cyclocross season are just around the corner.

ENVE Composites bikes have been hot this summer and for good reason, they make a nice bike.
Here is a great looking coral Mog with SRAM Road Force XPLR with short Red cranks. This one went home with two wheelsets, one for light gravel and road and one for more serious gravel.

It’s been a bit crazy around the shop and we’ve been doing a bad job getting photos of bikes we’ve been building!
Luckily, we got one of this awesome Specialized Bicycle Components Crux with SRAM Road Red XPLR and ENVE Composites wheels.
This one really shows off all the latest tech in the gravel race world, wide aero wheels with big tires, aero frame, 1x13 gearing….

It’s a bummer that Kevin (Kevin Sparks) is moving on from NCS, we wish him the best in his next venture.
Kevin has been a huge part of NCS over the last 4+ years and we’re very thankful for all he did to help us continue to grow and do what we do.

It seems this has become a repeat thing lately... We’re hiring!
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to someone who wants to make a career in the cycling industry. We are looking to fill a full time sales position.

Whenever we add a new member to our team, our goal is to find someone who is a great fit on all levels. As a small shop, we all wear many hats, work together and play to strengths when possible. Embracing this style of work along with a positive and inclusive attitude is paramount.

Tasks that would be asked of a new hire would include, but not be limited to, day-to-day sales and helping of customers, ordering and receiving of new inventory and management of our database and POS. There are opportunities to do work in other areas as well, some mechanical work, bookkeeping, purchase forecasting, social media, group ride organizing, and many others.

Applicants should have very strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of bikes is not required, however, applicants who are not knowledgeable about bike parts should be ready to learn.

Over the years the BMC Teammachine SLR has become a staple around the shop. It’s ride quality and versatility make it the perfect go-fast bike for the hills of weather Dane Co.
The latest iteration of the SLR is the best yet, top quality, even lighter weight, great specs/value and a fantastic look. It’s a winner!

If there is one thing that keeps us all motivated and trying to do our best, it’s the relationship we build with people.
To see this bike come together and know that it’s pilot is putting in a big effort to do her best at Time Trial National Championships and Worlds is super fun.
