Tonight we’re running our MLK route except we’re cutting out the little part that actually goes down MLK. You’ll see when you get there.
Kinda like when you make Hamburger Helper but you don’t have beef so you just make “Helper”. Still delicious!

And who knows, you might get to run with our most intimidating club member, Kellen “The Hammer” Caldwell.

Saturday Trail Run at Pheasant Branch🌳

Bilbo Baggins wrote a poem about Aragorn when he revealed his true identity to him; The Heir of Isildur.

The first stanza of that poem is:

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

Then a half century later, Jeep owners started getting “Not All Who Wander Are Lost” written on tattoos and bumper stickers to indicate to others that they are adventurous.

Then, the band Smash Mouth released the hit single All Star which featured the lyrics “All that glitters is gold”.

The lesson here is that if you’ve ever thought about writing a poem for your bro, do it! Don’t wait!
Parts of it may become someone’s whole personality or be featured in a box office hit like Shrek.

You can expect to have revelations like this one, if you run on trails with us tomorrow morning.
