Great job to all of our cyclists this past weekend! Here’s a little race recap for our Central Coast Classics Race weekend in Santa Barbara and SLO:
On Saturday, at the Santa Barbara County Road Race, we had two podiums! First, in the Men’s Collegiate Novice, Cyrus placed 1st. Next, Kalu placed 3rd in the Women’s Collegiate 4! Thinh, Jack and Noah finished strong in their respective races as well!
On Sunday at the Cal Poly SLO Crit, we had many successful races! Starting off, Kalu placed 1st collegiate in the Women’s 4/5! In the Men’s 4/5, Jack and Noah placed 2nd collegiate and 4th collegiate! Finally, our athletes in the Men’s 3/4 finished with the main bunch of cyclists, gaining a lot of race experience on this high speed course.

Last but not least in our lineup of 2025/26 officers is our President Will Diego from El Cerrito! Will has been riding for a total of 9 years, and the past 3 have been on the team. Some of Will’s favorite rides are in Santa Cruz, a favorite area for many riders. Will does enduro, xc and some road riding! A core memory on the team is of riding Nobel Canyon during team camp. Noah focuses on road riding and some of his favorite rides occur during the SDBC Saturday rides. A core memory of Noah’s on the team is Swamdo, where he was still new to cycling, but got to ride with a ton of other super nice people in the cycling community. Similar to Nathaniel, Noah also has the goal to not crash this year! .packman
