We’re officially THREE WEEKS away from the start of Fall Classes!

Summer break is a great time to rest and recharge, but as we get closer to September 14, now is the perfect time to start getting your body moving again. Stretch, condition, review some basics, and ease yourself back into your routine.

A little bit each day goes a long way.

🎭 What a summer of performing!

Four productions, so many incredible moments, and a whole lot of young artists taking the stage.

Some shows soared. Some moments challenged us. But one of the best lessons we can learn as performers is that it’s not about the stumble, it’s about the recovery. We keep going, support our fellow performers, learn from the experience, and come back stronger.

We are so proud of everything these performers accomplished, learned, and created with us this summer.

We’ll take that as a compliment.

One of our favorite things about Hello Shakespeare is watching students discover that Shakespeare isn’t just something to read in English class. It’s something to explore, question, laugh about, perform, and make their own.

Our campers have been immersed in Much Ado About Nothing, learning the language, developing characters, working together, and discovering that a play written more than 400 years ago can still be pretty funny.

And apparently, they’ve been taking a little Shakespeare home with them, too. 🎭

🎭 : Throwing it back to last summer’s Hello Shakespeare Camp and our production of Twelfth Night! ✨

One of our favorite parts of this camp is watching young actors discover that Shakespeare isn’t nearly as intimidating as it might seem. They learn the language, find the humor, develop their characters, and make these stories their own.

One year later, another Hello Shakespeare cast is getting ready to take the stage!

🩰 Exciting things are happening at Dansu tonight!
Our Pre-Pointe Bootcamp students are taking their Pointe Readiness Exam, an exciting next step in their pointe journey!

Over the past several weeks, these dancers have been learning that preparing for pointe is about so much more than getting a pair of pointe shoes. They’ve been working on strength, alignment, balance, ankle stability, technique, and understanding how their own bodies work.

Tonight, they get to put all of that hard work to the test.
Passing the exam means demonstrating the strength, technique, and knowledge needed to safely take that next step. And whether that step happens tonight or there is still more work to do, we are incredibly proud of the commitment these students have shown throughout Bootcamp.

Good luck, dancers! We can’t wait to see where your pointe journey takes you. 🩰
