The Foley Freeze is a FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) robotics team established in 2002. We are a diverse group of talented students from Bishop Foley Catholic High School in Madison Heights, Michigan. Our students and mentors work together with our community to spread an appreciation and passion for science, technology, engineering and the spirit of FIRST. We provide opportunity for high school students to form lasting bonds with other FIRST students throughout the nation and create a basis to become leaders of the future.

Today is 9/10 Day, and we're celebrating a COOL 25 Years of The Foley Freeze!

For a quarter-century, Bishop Foley Catholic’s FIRST Robotics program has challenged students to build, innovate, problem-solve and make a positive impact on our community. Hundreds of students have come through our program, developing technical and creative skills, lifelong friendships and a passion for STEM
along the way.

We are wrapping up our season after an amazing experience at the 2026 World Championship in Houston, Texas! Our team had the opportunity to collaborate with teams from around the world, attend conferences, and witness STEM applications first-hand at the Innovation Fair. We will cherish the memories made this season and are looking forward to another year of FIRST in 2027! ⚙❄

We had an amazing time chilling with Flurb and The Flying Octopi in Alliance 6 during playoffs! This weekend was filled with high-energy and excitement while competing on the Hemlock Semiconductor Field at the State Championships. We'll be cheering everyone on in the finals! ⚙️ ❄️

After a six match winning streak and climbing the ranks throughout day two of the State Championships, we're excited to chill with Alliance 6 captain Flurb (FRC 5843) and The Flying Octopi (FRC 8373)! Watch us live as we compete during playoffs tomorrow alongside so many amazing Michigan teams! ⚙️ ❄️
