Tonight the Tigerettes travel to Moberly to take on the Spartans at 5 pm. Our featured player is junior center fielder, Trinity Gooding. Trinity is a 3 year varsity player. She is a lefty slap hitter and brings quickness and speed to the team. She was given the nick name "speed racer" by one of our coaches.
Her favorite genre of music is r&b. A place on her bucket list to visit is Italy. A food she would never touch is Sushi.
Come watch the Tigerettes tonight and cheer Trinity on against the Spartans.

Macon high school is celebrating 50 years of softball. In 1976 Coach Jim baker started the program. Kelly Rogers was the superintendent. The team played 10 games with a record of 4 - 6. They played Knox County, Schuyler County, Canton, Brashear and the district games were held in Gorin.

The Macon "Tigerettes" name was coined by Jim Baker. The first team practiced and played in jeans and T. Shirts on a dirt baseball field where Bagby field is currently now. The first state tournament was held in 1976 in Jefferson city, consisting of a 126 teams in 16 districts.
Team members were Co-captains Debbie Thrasher, Susan Albach and Penny Hicks.

Tonight, the Tigerettes take on the Southern Boone Eagles at home varsity will play at 5.
Today's feature player is junior, Maddie Claypoole. Maddie's favorite class is anatomy. She enjoys hanging out with her friends and going on walks. If she could hang out with any celebrity it would be Drew Starkey. She prefers cats over dogs. Her most memorable birthday was at Ugo's when all of her friends came. Maddie plays first for the Tigerettes and is working hard at her game. She had a great hit in the Monroe game that bounced off the outfield fence. Come cheer on Maddie and the Tigerettes tonight!!!

Big congratulations to the Tigerette homerun hitters. Sophomore Raleigh Weimer hit a lead off homer in the top of the first against Centralia's Mizzou commit Jaylynn Brown.
And sophomore Auburn Glover hit solo homer in the top of the third in the win against conference rival, Monroe City.
Awesome job ladies!!!!!

Tonight the Tigerettes will face our conference rival, Monroe City at Monroe.
The featured player is, junior, Presley Applebury. Presley is a 3 year varsity starter. She has played multiple positions helping the team where she is needed. Her favorite softball position is second because she " likes diving after balls." This year she has taken on the rotation of Pitcher, Second Base and Short Stop. She is a great defensive player and has been successful at all three positions.
Presley works in the summer. This summer she worked as a lifeguard at the Macon pool. She felt it was a great job. "The best job I have ever had was being a lifeguard at the pool because of the amazing tan and my fun bosses."
When she isn't working or playing softball her favorite thing to do is shopping and hanging out with her friends.
If Presley could pick dream vehicle she would pick a white Ford Bronco. Her favorite drink is a vanilla coke.
Come see Presley working hard on the field and at bat tonight at Monroe. Varsity will play first followed by JV.
