🥎 Keep Growing This Fall! 🥎

The offseason is where great players are made. While our school season may be over, your development doesn't have to stop. Competing in a fall league is a great opportunity to gain more game experience, improve your skills, build confidence, and stay sharp heading into next season.

We encourage all of our student-athletes who are able to continue playing this fall. Every inning, every at-bat, and every rep helps you become a better player and teammate.

If you're looking for an opportunity, the Sluggers Fall High School Softball League offers competitive games, weekly practices, and a fun environment to continue developing your game.

We hope everyone has a fun, safe, and memorable holiday weekend celebrating with family and friends!

As you’re cleaning up after the festivities, don’t forget that your returnable cans and bottles can make a difference for our program. ♻️ Please consider donating them to Coastline Redemption in support of Washington Academy Softball.

Every bottle and can helps provide opportunities and experiences that enrich our student-athletes both on and off the field. Your generosity supports team development, travel, equipment, and experiences that help our players grow as athletes, teammates, and young women.

Summer weekends are BUSY, but this crew still found a way to make it happen!

Our softball team successfully hosted a concession sale at the Margaretta Days Festival, proving once again that we know how to Conquer and Divide!

A special shoutout to our recently graduated seniors who held down the table Friday night. Meadow even spent a little time “incarcerated” before Grace came to the rescue and bailed her out! 💰🚔

Thank you to Sarah, Darlene, and all of the family members who baked, donated, volunteered, or stopped by to purchase something delicious. Your support helped make this fundraiser a HUGE success.

All proceeds will go directly toward supporting the 2027 WA 🥎 program. We appreciate our amazing community and everyone who continues to support our athletes! ❤️🩶

Softball doesn’t end when the final out is recorded.

Building and maintaining a successful program takes year-round planning, fundraising, community support, and countless hours behind the scenes. From equipment and uniforms to field maintenance, travel, and opportunities for our student-athletes, every season is made possible by the support of our community 🫶🏻

This weekend at Margaretta Days, the Washington Academy Softball team will be selling hot dogs, hamburgers, and baked goods to help support our program. Every purchase helps us continue providing opportunities for our athletes to grow, compete, and represent our school with pride.

If you’re attending the festival, stop by, grab a bite to eat, and support Washington Academy Softball. We are grateful for the continued encouragement and generosity of our community.

📣 Washington Academy Softball is proud to announce that Meadow Rohde and Bella Cirone have been invited to play in the 2026 Class C Softball All-Star Game!

Bella Cirone has earned selection for her dominance in the circle, while Meadow Rohde will represent the Raiders with the leadership, toughness and consistency that have become her trademark behind the plate. Their dedication and hard work have made a lasting impact on our softball program, and this recognition is a testament to the outstanding seasons they have had.

Congratulations to our Lobster Bake winner, Kelly Austin (Dow)! 🎊

Not only is Kelly taking home an amazing lobster feast, but she’s also none other than the legendary Washington County softball pitcher herself! 🥎🏆

The Lady Raiders’ season came to an end this afternoon with a hard-fought 4-2 loss to the Central Red Devils in the quarterfinal round.

While the outcome wasn’t what we hoped for, this team’s growth, determination, and commitment throughout the season deserves to be celebrated. From the first pitch to the final out, these athletes represented our school and community with pride, resilience, and heart.

Thank you to our players, coaches, families, and fans for your unwavering support all season long. We are incredibly proud of everything this team accomplished and look forward to seeing what the future holds for Lady Raider softball.
