Still looking for tackle football players. Come join the sport that turns boys into men! Play against other schools whom are in our school UIL district. Get noticed by the school coaches before school sports begin! Practice and play where our Pirate Varsity does.

⚽ LYP Soccer Update
After much consideration and careful evaluation, LYP leadership has made the difficult decision not to offer a soccer season this year.
As a volunteer-run organization, we must continually evaluate where we can best focus our time and resources to ensure the programs we offer are well organized, sustainable, and provide the quality experience our families deserve. At this time, LYP is not in a position to operate a soccer program.
We understand this news will be disappointing for many families. Fortunately, there are several neighboring organizations that offer excellent soccer focused programs, and we encourage those interested in playing this season to explore those opportunities.
If members of the community are interested in organizing a local soccer program independently of LYP, we would be happy to share what we’ve learned over the years and provide the information and guidance we’ve gathered to help support those efforts. Please note that any independent organization would be responsible for meeting all applicable requirements, including obtaining commercial general liability insurance if they wish to use city or school facilities. Reach out to us via email if interested. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE. We have included a list of soccer season tasks for reference.
We are grateful to everyone who has been part of LYP Soccer over the years and sincerely appreciate your understanding as we remain committed to providing quality recreational opportunities for the youth of Lytle.

‼️TACKLE FOOTBALL UPDATE‼️

Hello everyone, we still don't have enough boys for our tackle football season. Registration will go through August 21st and we will send flyers out through school to hopefully complete the teams. A decision will be made on August 22nd. If we get enough kids then equipment will be handed out the evening of the 23rd and practice will start on the 24th. If it looks like we will reach our goal before then I will update and try to start sooner.
This will give us 1 month to practice before our first game September 19th. Hang tight while we give it one last big push to get enough boys to play. Spread the word so we can have an awesome football season!! Thank you for your patience!

GREAT turnout for flag football again this year! We have enough to create 2 solid teams.
