The studio is ready and waiting for you! It's our final week of summer classes, which means it's also visiting week! We encourage parents and caregivers to come into the lobby and watch your dancer during class. Fall classes begin Sept. 10 and our schedule and registration is open online https://www.alderwooddancespectrum.com/schedule/

The summer session of our popular 👑Fairytale Princesses👑 dance class is underway and there are a few spots left to sign up for individual princess classes! These classes are for children ages 3-6 and include:

✨Warm-up dance with wands and tiaras
✨Read the princess story of the day
✨Dress up in our costume pieces
✨Act out the story with music, props and dance

Our 6-week summer session runs June 23rd – July 30th and is a great time for those interested in dance to try it, or work on technique. Gone for a few weeks this summer? Try a punch card! Our summer class punch card allows families flexibility when taking summer classes to work around vacation schedules, or to try new styles of dance before committing to a whole season. Opening night of our recital was incredible and our dancers did so great! Tonight is our final show, 7 pm at the Everett Civic Auditorium. Tickets available at the door. Come one, come all!

😁It's finally here!😁 It's dress rehearsal day for our recital at the Everett Civic Auditorium! Dancers in Act One will rehearse 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Yes, we need dancers there at 4:00pm. This may mean that you need to pickup your dancer early from school to get them ready. Please plan on heavy traffic getting to the auditorium.

Preschool I, Preschool II, and Preschool 5 dancers will be dismissed early. Their dismissal time will be posted at the stage door where you drop them off.

Dancers will need arrive "Stage ready". This means with hair and make-up done, and in costume with correct dance shoes. There is no space for dancers to get ready at the theater. The dressing room is for dancers who have more than one costume change. No cell phones, food or drinks are allowed.

Dancers in only Act Two (the ballet) should arrive by 6pm. Rehearsal will be from 6:30 to 8 pm.

If you have questions about tights, hair, etc. you can refer to the emails we've sent out or log in to your parent portal.

💐Don't forget to order your recital flowers! 💐Orders are due this Friday, June 12. Order online at https://alderwooddancespectrum.square.site/ and you'll pick them up in the theater lobby the night of recital before the show - soooo much easier than making multiple stops for flowers (or forgetting them entirely!) or trying to hide them from your dancer under the seat of your car!

Our Dance Team has had an ✨INCREDIBLE✨ competition season and is excited to show you all their award-winning routines! We hope you'll attend their showcase this Sunday, May 31 at 5 p.m. at Alderwood Community Church. This event is open to the public, and while there is no cost to attend, a donation to the team is suggested. Immediately following the showcase will be an informational meeting for those who may be interested in auditioning for next year's dance team.
