We’re looking for just a few more coaches to fill out this season. We need them asap with practices starting up so reach out to us if you or someone you know can help!

We’re getting closer to kickoff, and we’re looking for a few more coaches to help make this season go! 🏈 Drafts are happening tomorrow night, so let us know ASAP if you can help so that you are able to choose your team. If we don’t have coaches by then, teams will be picked by a board member or stand-in and we will work to fill the coach slot from those parents.

With 52 teams, we need just 6 more Boys coaches to fill out the season:

🏈 2 Peewee Boys coaches
🏈 2 JV Boys coaches
🏈 2 Varsity Boys coaches

Coaching is about more than football. It’s a chance to help kids build confidence, learn teamwork, make friends, and have a great experience on and off the field. You don’t have to be a football expert to make a difference. You just have to be willing to show up, teach, encourage, and have some fun with the kids.

And yes, there’s a little something for you too! Coaches receive a $50 rebate toward their player’s registration.

EVALUATIONS UPDATE:

All remaining divisions will be Saturday, Sept. 12, at the times below:

8:00 AM - All Peewee (girls & boys)
8:45 AM - All Freshman (girls & boys)
9:45 AM - JV Girls
11:00 AM - JV Boys
12 Noon - High School Girls

Arrive early to get checked in. Be sure to wear cleats, shorts with NO pockets, and if you have a flag from previous seasons, you can bring that as well. They will be held at Samuel Friedland Park (18500 Hamlin Blvd).

As we are wrapping up evaluations, here’s a little bit of what you can expect for next steps…

Next up: COACH DRAFTS! Coaches will be drafting teams September 10-11, and you should be hearing from your coach once drafts are complete and teams are finalized in the system. Likely over the weekend or early the following week.

Practices begin the week of September 21, with all teams practicing Monday & Wednesday this season.

General practice times:
• 🏈 Peewee & Freshman: 6-7 PM
• 🏈 JV: 7-8 PM
• 🏈 Varsity & High School: 8-9 PM

Coaches will send the final team details once rosters are set.

Be sure to get signed up by midnight tonight, even if you are on the waitlist. We will be reviewing the final numbers tomorrow and getting as many as we can moved from the waitlist into the season. So you should know sometime this week if you made it.

🏈 IMPORTANT FALL 2026 REGISTRATION UPDATE 🏈

Breakthru Athletic League is growing, and we couldn’t be more excited about what that means for our players and families!

With registration numbers climbing, we’ve had to cap some divisions for the Fall season based on the field space and availability we have right now. Our goal has always been to get as many kids on the field as possible, and we’re working hard to do exactly that with the resources available to us this season.

👉 If you haven’t registered yet, we strongly encourage you to register ASAP.

For Fall 2026, practices will be held Monday and Wednesday evenings, with practice times of:
🏈 6:00-7:00 PM
🏈 7:00-8:00 PM
🏈 8:00-9:00 PM

If your division is currently full and you are placed on a waitlist, don’t give up! Once registration closes, we’ll review the final registration numbers, evaluate field availability, and determine where we can safely add additional players. But be sure to get onto the waitlist. You do not have to pay to be on the waitlist. You only pay if you’re moved into the season.

Anyone who is able to be moved from the waitlist into the season will be contacted directly by the Breakthru Athletic League team.

We also want you to know that this is a sign of something BIG happening at BA. 📈🏈

Our league is growing, and we’re working toward even more field space and opportunities for our athletes. Once these fields are fully operational, we hope to have the ability to open things up even further and get even more kids playing.
