A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, more than 233 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including including two-time Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (WAS), two-time World Series Champion Ben Zobrist (CHC), and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (BOS), Jordan Zimmermann (DET), Curtis Granderson (NYM), and Lucas Duda (NYM). All league games are viewable live via the Northwoods League website.

The Rockford Rivets and the Wacky Wesos want to give a huge shout-out to Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que of America for providing the post-game meal for the Chicago Snowballs and The Rocket Squirrels! ⚾️

After battling it out on the field, the teams got to enjoy some delicious BBQ courtesy of Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que of America.
