Day 1 of the 35th Annual Fryeburg Rec Tournament was a great day. So many returning friends playing in the event each year. We even had a few special celebrations going on today. Josh celebrating a special birthday and Jon Hill received his B Flight Club Champion Trophy from Mr. Littlefield. We do it all over again tomorrow. Goodnight!

Our Lake Kezar Country 2026 Ladies League Luncheon was held today at the Old S**o Inn. The luncheon was attended by 35 ladies, where a certificate of appreciation was given to head ladies league coordinator, Betty Quigley and also to her assistant’s Lorraine Harden and Sandy Estes.
Prize awards were given out in the following categories…
Most chip ins-Judy Regan
Most greenies-Jane Woodbury
Golden golfer-Peg Bjork
Biggest Quota comeback for 18 holes-Jane Waite
Biggest Quota comeback for 9 holes-Ceci Stone
A golf quiz was held and the winner was Anita Craig-Carsley, Raffle prizes were also given out.
The luncheon was coordinated by Carol Hastings and Jane Woodbury.
The ladies league welcomed eight (8) new members this year.
