🚨 BREAKING: Seth Trimble has been cleared to play for Louisville this season.
Jefferson County Circuit Court has granted the motion to add Trimble and the other new plaintiffs to the Wells v. NCAA lawsuit and extended the protection of the existing temporary restraining order to them.
This is significant because Trimble’s fifth year had been thrown back into question on Aug. 21 when the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit stayed the Colorado ruling that originally gave Class of 2022 athletes another season of eligibility. That left Trimble without the court protection he had when he committed to Louisville.
Trimble then joined the separate lawsuit in Jefferson County, where Judge Brian Edwards had already granted temporary protection to a group of athletes challenging the NCAA’s eligibility rules. With today’s decision extending that protection to Trimble, the legal barrier preventing him from playing has been removed for now.
The important part is that this is still a temporary court order, not a final ruling on the overall case. The lawsuit will continue and the NCAA can continue challenging the decision through the legal process. But as things stand right now, Seth Trimble is cleared to suit up for Pat Kelsey and Louisville during the 2026-27 season. 🔴⚫️

Flory Bidunga’s impact goes way beyond the box score.
Elite defender. Relentless rebounder. High-level motor. But Pat Kelsey sees even more coming offensively a big who can pass, make decisions, push the break and create with the ball in his hands.
And off the court? Kelsey says Flory’s personality might be just as valuable. Professional when it’s time to work, hilarious when it’s time to loosen up the room.
The defense is already elite. The offensive leap could be next. 👀
How big of a jump do you think Flory makes this season? ⬇️
